Migration of the Saturn Planet

Migration of the Saturn Planet takes place once in 2 ½ years . From one zodiac to another zodiac. The saints, the rishis and the siddhas have elaborately given the worshipping method on the “Eve of Migration”. These methods are to be known from your Sathgurus. And they have to be spread to and shared with others. In order to worship the Saneswara bhagavan and get his blessings everyone should visit Kuchaanoor 80 kms away from Madurai near Cumbum where Saneeswara bhagavan is in Linga shape (without any form as self emerged suyambu lingam).
The nine planets such as Saturn, Venus, Ragu , Kethu etc… are in the shape of linga very rarely at specific places like Thanjavur (Big Temple), Kuchaanoor to offer their grace.
At Kuchaanoor offering black and blue colour dress as dhanam and black grapes, sesame mixed rice food, beetroot halwa as annadhanam will have special good effects. Offering dress to physically handicapped and to persons dressing in blue and black colour will be exclusively special. Other things can be given as free dhanam on any day. Offering freely black and blue colour dresses, food items can be done on Saturdays, kari naal days which give exciting and fantastic benefits more effectively. By having darshan of Saturn bhagavan at Kuchaanoor on the day of migration will make full fledged benefits.
Generally these nine planets such as Saturn, Venus, Ragu, Kethu etc… indiscriminately provide benefits, small amount of sufferings as per every one's karma of ancient births. Due to our karmas which one do in his ancient birth whether simple or big acts, either good or bad, all these detrimental karmas act accordingly in this birth as we are facing it as happiness or painful events. Our each act will be noted move by move by these nine planets including Sun, Saturn, Mars etc. Because of these nine planets observing everyone’s life incidents, accurately and carefully, it reflects in one's horoscope as planetary position. Based on one’s earlier past life, the future evens are predicted. Because of this observation every minute, every second even an atom cannot move without God's will. Thus everyone is responsible for pleasure or misery, for every act God provides pleasant or sorrowful benefits. One has to accept them lead the life. Hence our prayers and life activity must to execute only good thoughts and deeds as per Satguru’s advice and lead the life peacefully by accepting pleasures and sufferings calmly. This forms right path of worshipping of the nine planets.

Sri Rama Navami

When no festival is mentioned in a particular year, it will have two fold special characteristics. When such days coincide with the birth star punarvasu blessings of Lord Rama will be a crore times. These facts are known to sathguru, sages, yogis including siddhars. On the eve of special and important day such as Sri Rama Navami , migration of Saturn Planet, Pongal , Shangaranthi etc.., special pooja methods must be learned from Satguru and it has to performed as per his direction. With good thought and with good deeds such important and special days are to be celebrated and these days must be spent in a useful manner.

Sri Narasimha Pullaboothankudi

Remembering the day like free dress offering (vasthra dhanam) and free food offering (annadhanam) should be done and such days accounted for one’s life lived. On the day of Rama Navami one must visit and have darshan of Lord Rama at Pullaboothangudi 7 kms away from Kumbakonam near Swamimalai. It is a small village were Lord Rama is in reclining (kidantha kolam) posture which is very rare and such a very rare temple to be visited. Lord Rama’s lying posture is highly beautiful and divine which attract all the viewers. The indoor (urchavar) idol is also a rare sight to be viewed because without bow and arrow Sri Rama holding only a conch on one hand and wheel (chakram) on the other. This idol is titled as “Valvil Ramachandra Moorthi”.
During Rama navami offering of sandal paste, ground by individuals will give special benefits. The annadhanam of sugar pongal to poor people during Rama navami darshan is advised by siddhas as Lord Rama will give relief from the bad habits and deadly diseases and a peaceful deep sleep for those who suffer from lack of good sleep.

Pullaboothankudi

If one is unable to have darshan in Pullaboothangudi on Rama Navami day at least within one year having darshan on Lord Rama’s birth star Punarvasu or on navami (i.e. the ninth day from full moon or new moon (pournami or amavasya). Because of Lord Rama’s Incarnation as a man, He had to undergo many sufferings as after losing His crown mainly sadness due to split of Seetha devi, Sri Rama living in dense forest, had to meet a wild life worried about Seetha Devi and Her position there in Srilanka. Sri Rama spent His days in forest without eating with sad memories and He was roaming with his brother Lakshmanan in dense forests spending days on of thinking of Seethadevi.
By then, at that time Anjaneyar’s words after return from Srilanka that he saw seetha devi (i.e) “kanden Seethaiyai”. On hearing this Sri Rama felt as if sweet honey was falling in His ears. After hearing this good news Lord Rama just lied comfortably for a sleep for a short time and this very short period of sleep gave Him years of spiritual power. The lying posture of Sri Rama in Pullaboothangudi refers to sleep philosophy because of which our Guru Mangala Ghandharva gave worshipping methods on Sri Rama Navami Day from Agasthia Grandhas. The darshan of Lord Rama's reclining posture at Pullaboothangudi provides peace of mind, reduces blood pressure, etc..
Please note that on any particular year if Rama navami is not occurring according to panchangam, Sri Anjaneya has committed to celebrate it as deva pooja on the date as chosen by Sri Anjaneya.

Athmavichara Questions

Question : While Sri Rahu is being worshipped as god then, why doing good things is avoided ? Is that Ragu kaalam is bad and malignant evils creator ? Is Rahu Bhagavan not gracious ? Answer (By our Guru Mangala Gandharva Sri Venkatarama Swamigal ) : A wrong opinion that for doing good things Rahu kaal is not ideal prevails among people. When Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Mohini, two giants hid themselves to get the nectar (amirtham) along with deva gods. Lord Vishnu knocked the giants' heads and shoulders by the ladle and in this process few drops of nectars dropped. Because of this the giants got indestructible head and body. They became ragu and kethu as eighth and ninth planets . There is no separate class as giants and at the same time all giants are not wicked. The humans, ghandharvas and devas with their excessive desire, lust and other evil properties are becoming giants. Due to the curses of sages curse many have become giants and at the same time few giants have conquered their karma caused by the effect of their earlier births and existed with amazing properties.

Whether it means the All-Knowing-Deva Mohini didn’t know the hiding giants ? No. Since the devas had the power to know everything they knew very well that the two giants were sitting for nectar. Yet they were calm as everything was taking place as Lord Vishnu’s wish. Knowing well that it was Lord Vishnu (avatar leela) who acted as Mohini, the devas remained peaceful. The giants were graced to get the spared few drops of nectar by Lord Vishnu when He knocked the ladle on the shoulders and head of Rahu and Ketu. Because of kindness of Lord Vishnu, these two giants have got indestructible heads and bodies in the names of Rahu and Kethu. And given the task of governance of karmas, ancient birth, cause and effect of living creatures in the universe. Thus the planet Rahu which is roaming around the universe as nodal junctions and in order to make special reference to Rahu planet a fixed time of duration daily as Rahu kaalam is created.
